Today from 1:30 - 3:00 pm a reception will be held at the Newport Business Resource Center to unveil a joint project between graduate students from the Clinton School of Public Service, the Downtown Revitalization and Improvement Volunteer Effort (D.R.I.V.E.), the Iron Mountain Regional Arts Council (IMRAC) and the Newport Economic Development Commission (NEDC).
In the attached press release you will note that the Clinton School of Public Service is announcing their commitment to work with Newport on a project to create a Delta Center for the Visual Arts to be located in downtown Newport. Clinton School Dean Skip Rutherford will be on hand to announce the cooperative project agreement between the school and the community. The program portion of the reception will occur around 2 pm.
